Shannon starts to feel a migraine coming on, and decides to take some medicine and lay down for a little while. There’s no rush- she can complete her classes largely at her own pace, and has many avenues through which to get support should she need it. Even though her schooling may seem untraditional, being able to get the same lessons as kids who go to school in person and have plenty of opportunities to meet people with her shared interests makes her feel like just any other teenager.
